OKLAHOMA -- One state representative wants to repeal parts of House Bill 1804, saying it has caused an "economic disaster."
Representative David Braddock says he wants to repeal parts of the immigration law to help out farmers and businesses struggling to find workers (CHEAP, OBEDIENT, SLAVES).
Currently, the law does not let illegals get tax-supported services, requires employers to verify their employees' immigration status, and punishes employers if they hire illegal immigrants.
A chairman of the legislative committee says the chances of the repeal being considered are slim.
