LINDON, Utah -- More than 100 immigration agents raided a Utah County business Thursday morning. Immigration & Customs Enforcement agents converged on Universal Industrial Sales at 435 North 1200 West in Lindon. They hauled away around 50 undocumented workers and the company’s Human Resource Director.
The raid was the result of a lengthy investigation. ”We knew exactly what we were going into. This is nothing random, nothing spontaneous, this is based on an on going investigation with solid evidence,” said ICE spokesman, Tim Counts.
