CHANDLER, Arizona -- We now know where Santana Batiz-Aceves worked before Chandler Police arrested him in connection with several sexual assaults in Chandler.
Steve Padilla, President of Hunter Contracting in Gilbert, confirmed Batiz-Aceves worked as an hourly employee from October 2007 until last Thursday.
Company officials said on Monday they fired him for not showing up to work.
Right now, Batiz-Aceves is being held with out bond at the 4th avenue jail.
Padilla also said he was hired under the name Santana Batiz and that Chandler Police gathered his employment records Monday afternoon.
According to Hunter Contracting's website, the company specializes in highway and industrial construction.
