Pittsburgh, PENNSYLVANIA: Agents, police charge 20 in interstate drug ring

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania -- The state attorney general's office and local police this morning arrested 12 men and were searching for eight others charged as part of an interstate drug ring supplied by illegal Mexican aliens from Ohio.

The local ringleader, according to a statewide grand jury, was Victor Allen Jr., 41, of Snowball Road in Monroeville, who is among those in custody.

State agents said Mr. Allen distributed $8.7 million worth of cocaine and marijuana he received from a group he called the "Mexicans," who operated out of Columbus, Ohio.
