NEW YORK: EX-WORKER BUSTED IN 'GEM' SLAY

New York -- An axed employee of an Upper East Side jewelry boutique was busted yesterday for stabbing and slashing his boss - a hardworking Bronx mom - to death after she caught him stealing and threatened to call cops, sources said yesterday.

David Andrango, 29, of Ridgewood, faces second-degree murder charges in the brutal slaying of Sandra Rodriguez-Pumarejo, 52, a bookkeeper at Michael Dawkins Jewelry on East 65th Street, cops said.
