FRAMINGHAM, Massachusetts -- Federal immigration officials took five illegal immigrants into custody on Monday.
Two of the men, brothers Marcio DeAndrade, 23, and Paul DeAndrade, 32, had already been deported to Brazil and returned illegally. Two other men, Fabio Soares, 26, and Jefferson DeAroujo, 24, had federal warrants for deportation, Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Paula Grenier said.
The fifth, Thiago Ribeiro, 23, was being investigated for stealing a car and cellular phone when authorities discovered he was in the country illegally.
