TENNESSEE and VIRGINIA -- The United States Attorney’s office says a four year drug investigation lead to the dismantling of two related distribution rings and the conviction of 17 people on federal conspiracy charges involving either cocaine or methamphetamine.
"The drugs were coming in here and there's no indication that this was just a transit point,” Assistant United States Attorney Caryn Hebets said. “They were coming here and being consumed and sold here."
