JACKSON, Mississippi -- The owner of a Rankin County trailer park where one died and three were wounded in fight Monday, will shut it down.
The park is on Mattie Burnett Circle, just off Fannin Landing Circle on the north shore of the reservoir. A total of 16 illegal aliens were living there. Three people are arrested for murder, aggravated assault, kidnapping and burglary.
Sheriff Ronnie Pennington gave the owner a deal that he would not be arrested or named if he would agree to padlock the trailer park, which was in deplorable condition. The illegals have been deported, and the sheriff says he is serving notice that anybody who is hiring illegal aliens, or allowing them to live on their property, has 30 days to make them leave.
