HOUSTON, Texas -- A Houston woman who went free last year after being sentenced in the fatal smuggling attempt of 19 illegal immigrants could return to prison because an appeals court has decided her punishment was not severe enough.
The ruling by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals concurred with federal prosecutors, who protested that it was "unreasonable" for a judge to sentence Norma Gonzalez Sanchez to less than three years.
A phony citizen. Her citizenship should be revoked.
