Herndon, Virginia -- It's a tragedy the Passarelli family of Herndon can never forget.
One month ago their husband and father, 53-year old Joe Passarelli, was hit and killed as he crossed the street. The fast moving car then fled the scene and disappeared.
Now, Herndon authorities say they have a suspect -- 28-year old Jose Espinoza. The problem is that last week Espinoza was deported back to his native El Salavador. That puts him beyond the reach of American law.
The news has disappointed the Passarelli family which wants justice. They still hope they will see it someday.
Herndon police have issued an arrest warrant. If Espinoza ever returns to the United States he could go to jail.
