Georgia -- Cherokee County Commissioners unanimously passed a measure Tuesday night that will make it illegal to rent to illegal immigrants. They also passed a measure making English the official language of Cherokee County.

Opponents of the measure were angered. They said they showed up hours early and signed up to have a chance to speak, but when the time came, commissioners told them they would not have any discussion on the issue.
