Houston, Texas -- A man accused in at least two sexual attacks on women and suspected in one other is illegally in the country, law enforcement officials said.

Leopoldo Sanchez, 40, who is also known by other names, is charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault. He was charged Tuesday night in the alleged attack of a 18-year-old woman Aug. 15 in the 3800 block of Broadway.

Early today he was charged in an attack on another woman and an additional victim has identified him as her attacker, said prosecutor Sylvia Escobedo Newman. He is being investigated for at least two other attacks, Newman said.
