WALKER, Louisiana -- Police and U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents arrested 15 illegal immigrants during October in Walker and surrounding areas, the Walker Police Department said Wednesday.
Officers and agents were able to find the immigrants through traffic stops, field interviews and confidential informants, police said.

Police and Customs officials urged the public to notify them about suspected illegal immigrants by calling the police at (225) 664-3125 or Immigration and Customs Enforcement at (225) 298-5501.
