OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma -- The cost of emergency medical services for individuals deemed "illegal aliens" has more than doubled since 2003.
In the year ending June 30th, the Oklahoma Health Care Authority paid nine-point-seven (m) million dollars to treat individuals who entered the U-S without documentation. That's an increase of 154 percent over the three-point-eight (m) million dollars the authority paid to treat illegal aliens in 2003.
