OHIO, Government: Terror suspect's statements should be admissible (Nuradin Abdi)

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The statements of a Somali man accused of plotting to blow up a Columbus-area shopping mall should be admissible at trial, a government prosecutor says.

Nuradin Abdi was arrested under an immigration statute that has no provision for suppressing evidence, Justice Department attorney John DePue told the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday.
