Pennsylvania -- A resolution urging President Bush to secure national borders unanimously passed the State House on Monday.
Now moving on to the state Senate, House Resolution 799 is one of a series of bills titled "National Security Begins at Home" presented by state Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, R-12, last week.
Metcalfe, who is up for reelection in November, represents Adams, Cranberry and Middlesex townships as well as Evans City, Mars, Seven Fields and Valencia boroughs. He is part of a bipartisan group including Reps. Mark Mustio, R-44 and Tom Yewcic, D-72, who want to see the Legislature more involved with illegal immigration in Pennsylvania.
