Ohio -- Butler County Sheriff's deputies detained 18 illegal immigrants after a raid on a Wayne Township construction site Thursday morning.
The deputies found 20 workers along Windy Meadows Road, but officials said that only two of the 20 had proper identification.
"We believe all 18 presented us with fraudulent documents," Deputy Jeff Gebhart said.
After further questioning, the others confessed to being in the U.S. illegally, a deputy said.
The roundup was the result of an investigation that began after other construction workers complained to the sheriff's office that the illegal aliens were harassing or intimidating them.
