VIRGINIA: Charges Filed In Illegal Alien Transports (Previously Deported Illegal Aliens)

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Virginia -- Hours before President Bush dispatched 6,000 National Guard troops to secure the Mexican-U.S. border by next month, federal authorities charged two brothers with operating a human trafficking ring caught in Waterford transporting 12 illegal immigrants.

Agents with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency detained Benito and Miguel Cervantes, both in their 30s, and their 12 passengers—ranging in age from adults to a teenager and one child—April 27, after a Loudoun County deputy investigated a suspicious-looking truck parked at the Waterford Shell gas station on Charles Town Pike. When the deputy shined his flashlight into the truck, he noticed all 14 people crammed inside, from the extended cab to inside a camper shell that had tinted windows.
