MANATEE, Florida -- Law officers have nabbed 11 suspects on charges of gang-related crime inside Manatee's newly-defined crime box, and the sheriff says more arrests are to come.
Four adults and seven juveniles were taken into custody on charges ranging from attempted murder to probation violations during two raids on Thursday. Manatee County Sheriff's Office officials said the suspects all were involved in gang crime in one form or another.
The Violent Crime Task Force Unit, along with members of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, arrested the seven juveniles in the early afternoon.
