TICONDEROGA, New York -- Ten illegal aliens were taken into custody at a North Country Wal-Mart.
Officials found them working for a subcontractor that was renovating the store.
Ticonderoga Police Chief Jeffrey Cooke said officers responded to a call about reckless driving in the store's parking lot Tuesday evening. That drew attention to a group working on the renovations.
Businesses like Walmart typically use contractors for work like this so they can claim ignorance about the law.
Of course, President Bush, Michael Chertoff and top brass at Immigration and Customs Enforcment (ICE) give a silent nod for big business to do this.
And meanwhile, your Senators and Congressmen are trying right now to figure out how many ways they can bend over backwards to accommodate 20 million illegal aliens nearly rioting in the streets of California, Chicago and across the nation while waving Mexican flags and demanding benefits of citizenship or claiming that this is their land and Ameicans stole it from them.
Immigrations and Customs Enforcemnt agent (ICE)--scratch that--there is no such thing. I have never seen one. Have you?
