Border Patrol agents have an unofficial adage about the undocumented immigrants they see crossing illegally into the United States. For each one they catch, they say, three more make it through unscathed.

But deporting every illegal immigrant in the country is next to impossible, as Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff acknowledged before the Senate Judiciary Committee in October. "It would take billions and billions and billions of dollars to do it," he said.
This guy is absoulutely clueless. Mr. Chertoff how about starting at those state, city and county funded day labor centers that are widely known by everybody on this planet except you and the President. Or how about heading up to Hamilton Ohio, it appears that there are plenty of criminal illegal aliens up there making and using fraudulent social security cards. The sheriff up there keeps calling you guys but nobody in your department seems to be picking up the phone.
