SPRINGFIELD, Illinois -- A man was indicted by a grand jury Thursday on charges of transportation of illegal immigrants after he was stopped by police near Elkhart in Logan County.
Lorenzo Cordero-Guzman, no age or address available, was held pending trial, said Rodger A. Heaton, U.S. attorney for the Central District of Illinois, in a statement.
