BACKGROUND

The Committee on Homeland Security will meet in open session to consider "The Border Security and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2005," H.R. 4312. Chairman Peter T. King (R-NY) introduced the bipartisan bill to enhance security along America's borders and ensure the removal of aliens who attempt to enter the United States illegally.
