North Dakota: Trial begins for man accused of trafficking immigrants

FARGO, N.D. - A man accused of trafficking illegal immigrants said in federal court here that he was simply connecting people who needed jobs with North Dakota restaurants that needed workers.

Isn't this what President Bush claims he wants to do with his guest worker amnesty scheme?

Of course, match willing workers with jobs that Americans are apparently too lazy to do.

May I suggest that this bill be called the 2005 GUEST WORKER AMNESTY SCHEME instead of the McCain-Kennedy guest worker scheme. It appears that the President favors the latter.

This is how President Bush is planning to rebuild New Orleans. Almost every member of Congress will go along with this kooky idea and call it immigration reform.
