Virginia -- A McLean man pleaded guilty yesterday in federal court to conspiring to commit immigration fraud and making false statements in a scheme aimed at helping foreign nationals illegally obtain green cards through an employment-based visa program.
Naran S. Ivanchukov, 67, owner of Global Recruitment and Immigration Services Inc. in Falls Church, had been accused by federal prosecutors of illegally charging the aliens as much as $120,000 to pursue their visa applications. He faces 10 years' imprisonment at sentencing Dec. 2.
